In the days of my youth i learn that traveling is often more rewarding than arriving. Sometimes i hitchhike. Sometimes walk. Sometimes ride. Sometimes fly. See what there is to see. Watch what there is to watch. Especially people.
A midafternoon discussion at Aunt Jean’s restaurant leads to some interesting thoughts about….Artificial Intelligence, Sapient non-biologicals, The Second Coming.
It takes a village….or at least a progressive Pastor, forward thinking church council and miracle working Sexton to attract parishioners. Especially young pilgrims.
Sex, drugs and Rock and Roll define a lifestyle and maybe
a life.
A rainy evening filled with music.
Some wet.
Some dry.
Newhouse and Father Alkire are just finishing lunch at Aunt Jean’s Grocery (Home of Handcrafted Horse Furniture) when Newhouse has a dirty insight.
Goats are an acquired taste. Whether sheering, or milking, or barbequing.
Once upon a time in a small town far, far from here…..
Moose and Newhouse spend the early evening on the front porch drinking coffee and watching the Sun set. In a little while they’ll head up to Observatory Hill. The Perseids meteor shower peaks tonight. Newhouse has been at Maggie and Ray’s farm helping with wheat harvest. As always he comes back with insights….

It may take a while, but first memories are there. They have to be….we remember them.
